FAQ

Who can play Pickleball?

No matter your age pickleball is the sport for you! If you are a beginner our staff can help to get you set up on our reservation app as well as recommend different type of play options.

Do I need a Reservation?

It is strongly recommended that you reserve a spot if you are coming in for Open Play or would like to reserve a court. During our busy season, courts and events will fill up within hours of becoming available. You can find more information on availability on court reserve. Click Here To Book Now. For Table Tennis* it is recommended you bring a friend, but the tables are usually open all day.

*Available at Chanhassen location only.

What do I bring with me?

Bring a paddle, a ball, clothes to move in and preferably shoes without a black sole so they do not mark up the courts. If you do not have a paddle, we have demos to rent for $3 to try out until you find the right fit. Every paddle we demo has one available for sale in our pro shop.

I have a Court Reserve account. How do I add Mega?

In Court Reserve desktop, click on hover over your name at the top right, and a menu will drop down. Near the bottom is My Organizations. Hover over that, then click on Add Organization. Search for Mega, and both of our locations will pop up.

In Court Reserve on your phone, click on My Organizations at the bottom of the main page. Then click on Add Organization.

Will Mega be your primary place to play? Click on Edit My Organizations, and then on the green Make Primary button under Mega.

Can I host an event here?

We host events for birthdays, corporate team building and parties, family gatherings, and more. Check out our Events page for more information about events at each location.

How does open play work?

Open play is a very social way to play. Once a game is finished, everyone gets off the court, and reorganizes with those who are waiting to play. Like most outdoor facilities, there is a paddle rack that helps groups rotate through. A staff member will help move players along and keep the games even if it is a large group. If you are hoping to play with just your group of four alone, we recommend reserving a court. All players will mix with others during Mega Open Play.

We have a group of people that want to play.
Can we reserve our own court?

Absolutely! Private court rentals are available by the hour and can be reserved on the Court Reserve app or by calling the club.

Do you offer lessons and classes?

Yes! We offer instruction for beginner to advanced students. Classes are limited to 3, 4 or 8 students, allowing for lots of direct instructor time for each student. In Court Reserve, our classes are grouped by skill level and color coded on the Court Reserve calendar to best assist you in finding what works best. Ready for a private lesson? Our classes page also has links for each instructor for rates and information on how to set up lessons.

Do you have locker rooms?

Mega Chan has lockers, a changing area, and a shower in each bathroom. There are also complementary items in each for anything that you could have forgotten. We have towels for rent at the front for $2.

Mega Tonka does not have lockers. It does have one shower room on site. Bring your own supplies, though – we don’t have towels for rent here!

Is there a place to hang out after?

Mega Chan has a great lounge area for work or play. There is free coffee, tea and Wi-Fi  if you need to do a little work between games. The couches are a great place to hang out with friends after a few games. Feel free to bring in your own snacks and beverages!

Mega Tonka will have restaurant seating, with food and beverage expected mid-late 2024. There is also a mezzanine for sitting and watching games from above.
